Smokingroove have been pioneers of the UK House scene for nearly 15 years with their underground house music movement club nights & radio shows, and have continued to lead the way on London's underground radio scene since 96/97.

On the stations that has spawned most of today's UK talent, Freek FM, House FM, Unknown FM, London's Leading PUSH FM and now plays host to their new weekly residency on their national radio show on Radio 1 (UAE) alongside old friend Charl Chaka (Infusion Magazine)

As well as a lengthy 10 year career on the airwaves Smokingroove have spent the last few years working hard at mastering their sound of ghetto style Chicago/Jackin House with a range of House music Master pieces and releases on Illuminati Records, Mixtura records and releases on Moneypennys Music.

In 2008 Smokingroove made appearances on two very influential album compilations Om Dubai, where Smokingroove was asked to come up with an opening intro for the album and Moneypennys (A Taste of Ibiza 2008) compilation, where they featured one of their trademark tracks 'Popcorn Sunday'

With all this in mind, the SG boys have been bouncing between London, Ibiza, Dubai, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, India, and Latvia promoting their sound and spinning to the masses in the clubs.

2009 is certainly looking good for these two ghetto house groovers!
